Finished the series of sketches commissioned by @sudrien of lots of bendy, contortionist seadweller trolls (based on the same post Bendy Martial Arts Eridan was). A few were left out of this set but I figured a field journal setup would be a way to show some of them without stretching the dash too much.
Contortion was an interesting challenge! Convincing my brain that “yes people’s bodies can do that” wasn’t too hard due to having Hypermobility myself, but reference pictures definitely helped a bunch. Treasure your references, kids.

Well, this is the instruction book Shelly uses–living west of Rogers Park with her grandparents, she hangs around Devon Avenue pretty often. The store owner told her this was their most popular book and she’d better get it before someone else does! Though that could’ve just been because they were trying to rush her out before she accidentally knocked all the bookcases over…
