A story written for sudrien in bits and pieces from August 2016 to June 2017. Involves the Condesce being transported to Earth in a more humanoid body, and forced into a late 1800s freak show act as a contortionist. Inspired by these pics here. Commissioned at a rate of 3 dollars per every 100 words for a total of approximately 345 dollars over 11,505 words. Can also be downloaded with the original formatting intact from here. May wind up being the first of a series.

@sudrien commissioned me for a pic of their AU verse fic Condy as “Betty Crocker” on a magazine cover! I had a good time trying to make the cover look as authentic as possible, as well as making the “photoshopped” Condy look related to Jane alla the buck teeth.
Lol I think I’ve gotten too used to drawing this version of Condy. It’s kind of cool to have her memorized, though. I’M HONORED TO ILLUSTRATE HER.
“It was an elf hat? Like Rudolf a few years ago. Those elves. She thought it was Christmasy without invoking fat men.”
“She dememded printed proofs to make sure it was the right shade of purple. She’ll sue the pants off of us if it isn’t by press time.”
“Something about not letting that parking lot in the sky out-shine her? Who cares, nobody gets to interview Crockers.”
“Had to put my gosh dang tripod on a box to get things to line up right. I mean, I know you said her family was big, but-”
“I have no idea why she wore that much makeup, she wouldn’t let anybody touch it. Seriously, smooth it out, I can still see some concealer on the edges.”
